Conference has gather more than 50 participants including representatives of enterprises, vocational education schools, ministries, education agencies, chambers.

Mr. Vlado Prskalo from the Ministry of Science and Education, presented the concept of competence canters as one of the model of work based learning. Mile Živčić, the director of the VET Agency presented projects aimed at raising the quality of vocational education within the framework of curricular reform.

Ms Diana Vican from University of Zadar and the author of Programme for in-comapny mentors, through short presentation stressed the importance of pedagogical skills for work based learning.
The Conference was concluded with the panel discussion. All panellists agreed on importance of pedagogical skills of mentors in companies. Entrepreneurs expressed interest to be involved in training of in-company mentors and development of their own mentoring system in companies.
According to information of representative of Ministry of Economy, Entrepeneurship and Crafts, the final programme for mentors will be proposed after adopting The Crafts Act. That is expected to be in December 2018.
